Install QuranPress from Adobe Exchange or manually via the UXP Developer Tool

Open Adobe InDesign

Launch Adobe InDesign 2024 (v21.3.0 or later). Ensure you have an active Creative Cloud subscription.

Browse Plugins

Go to Window → Plugins → Browse Plugins (or open the Adobe Exchange panel from the Creative Cloud app).

Search for QuranPress

Type "QuranPress" in the search box and click Install. The plugin downloads and installs automatically.

Open the Panel

Go to Window → Plugins → Quran Press. The panel docks to the side of your workspace and is ready to use.

System Requirements

✓Adobe InDesign 2024 (v21.3.0) or later
✓Windows 10 / macOS 12 or later
✓Panel width: 230 px minimum (dockable)

Required Fonts

QuranPress requires specific Arabic fonts. A banner appears if any are missing.

KFGQPC HAFS Uthmanic Script — for Standard Orthography, brackets, Basmala
AQF_P001_HA to AQF_P604_HA (604 fonts) — for Uthmani Script mode only

Manual Installation (UXP Developer Tool)

  1. Download the .ccx or plugin folder from the provided source.
  2. Open the UXP Developer Tool (available from Adobe Creative Cloud).
  3. Click Add Plugin and select the plugin's manifest.json.
  4. Click Load to load the plugin into InDesign.
